My Poker Origin Story:

I started in 2012 when I was 18. I was able to become a consistent winner through studying the game and putting in the time on the tables. I never really had any major obstacles to overcome before my bankroll started to grow. I just had a huge passion for the game and due to my background of playing video games, I was already well equipped with the quick decision making skills required for multi-tabling online poker. The games were definitely a lot easier back then too which helped, I do not envy new players trying to build up a bankroll today!

The grind station! Unfortunately, I had to leave it behind when I moved to Thailand.

Eventually I just started making enough money at poker that it didn’t make sense to get another job and so I didn’t. I never looked back. Online poker has allowed me to do so many amazing things. Backpack through Canada and Australia, attend a European Poker Tour event in Prague and even relocate to South East Asia!

Put a face to a screen name during my trip to Canada in 2015. Thanks for showing me around, Peter!

Although I am not a fan of the changes pokersites have made in the past few years (not many people are!) I still love to play and put in the work required to win.
